Musician Simey speaks on hard work and dedication

“It has been a long journey till now and I’m giving fire in the music Industry” Simey Shikongo.

Being able to make good music that people from all backgrounds to enjoy has been one of Simey Shikongo’s dreams since his early childhood. Hard work and determination a couple of years later made it possible for his dream to come to a step closer as he dropped his first single Mokasi featuring Ricco. Ever since that hit song, the young dreamer never looked back.

A firm believer of one following their dreams, Simey never gave up until recently when he released his debut album titled Knuckle Down. The 12 track album features songs such as Madam Boss and Mwakala Nale. When asked how long it took him to put the album together, Simey told Unwrap.online that actually took a couple of years for him to record his album as he had given his full attention to it. According to the singer, he did this to be able to give his fans the best from his as an artist.

Simey worked with King Mex in terms of production and a singer under YKMP Records based in Ondangwa. To get a copy of Simey’s album, follow him on his social mediums including Instagram where the singer at times turns into a comedian to humor his fans.
