Namibian actress Girley Charlene Jazama has been nominated for the SOTIGUI award for best actor in Southern Africa.
Girley expressed her gratitude over SOTIGUI award nomination adding that it was an honour to be nominated.
“I am really honoured to be nominated alongside the other two brilliant actors in my category. The nomination is already a win because I am being recognised by my peers in the industry,” she said.
The Sotigui awards are aimed to promote the best African actors and the diaspora who distinguished themselves in films made during the period by their acting. It also helps bring actors closer to their audience.
