Stylist Martina Pieper will represent Namibia at the 4th edition of the international Mrs Tourism that scheduled for 3 August 2021 and will be held online.
Aimed at celebrating woman who are making an impact in the world while being wives and mothers, Pieper who is a local lecturer is one of 44 women who are taking part in the sought after competition, and believes this opportunity is just an extension of her pioneering work.

“I’m honestly really honoured to represent Namibia at this international pageant platform. It came to me as a huge surprise, since I have never entered any pageants before. Entering a beauty pageant world for the first time and immediately on the international level representing the country I’m privileged to call my home even though I wasn’t born Namibian is a huge responsibility put into my hands and I take it very seriously to not disappoint. On the other hand it also maybe isn’t as illogical, since I came to Namibia my very first time twenty years ago as a tourist – I’m sure you see the connection and kept coming every year since until I finally settled permanently here in December 2005 together with my Namibian born husband,” she said.
This is Pieper’s first pageant ever and she is being represented by pageant director Bobby Kaanjosa.
