New advertising kid on the block

Kashipu Marketing Agency was established by Sandro Ithana, a marketing student who has dedicated his time to exposing musicians to the rest of the country and organizing events for many years.

He describes this agency as the solution for Namibian artists. “Our goal is to bring music to the people; hence, we specialise in event management, marketing, promotion, and branding,” he stated..

He says that the concept for this advertisement came from him advertising different musicians and their music for free in the past. “Since I’ve been working with artists for a long time, I figured, why not come up with an advertising package for musicians that I can push on all of my social media platforms for a fee?” he explained.

Ithana said he will not only focus on artist advertisements but rather anything that needs his services. “I’m not going to focus on advertising for artists only, but rather for anyone who wants to sell something. My plan was to simply create a package for artists without excluding anyone else,” he said.

He claims that he wants to introduce music to the masses, and that there are perks for artists who pay for the monthly package. “If artists pay for a month, I will extend the days, and I will schedule their interviews on television, radio, and in newspapers. We are the answer; if you advertise with us, you will reap the benefits,” he said.
He was a member of the organizing committee for the Okahandja expo and the Ongwediva trade fair, and he also worked with Antonio’s art to promote artists like Tulisan.
