Out with the old and in with the new.

The Fashion Council of Namibia yesterday held an annual general meeting where the new board has been voted into power. The diverse board includes Merja Iileka, Frieda Karipi, Jaime-Lee diergaardt, Allison Lou, Kevin Perestrelo, Ericke Tijuana and Armando Van Wyk. They will be serving as board members for the next three years.

Commenting on the new board, Kalistu Mukoroli, a former executive director of the board congratulated the new members on their appointment and wished them success.
“We would like to congratulate the new board on their appointment and wish them all the best and success in executing their job. We will support and give guidance when called up,” he said.
The Fashion Council of Namibia was founded in 2012 with the mission of creating competitive and accessible intervention programs that will enable the fashion value chain to achieve sustainable businesses and partnerships both locally and international.
