Great and bad news for all Newturn fans!
She is the glue that pieced most featured songs our music industry has seen together. Newturn who is currently based in China with studies came back home with some pretty exciting news and some, not so great. The star who featured on Tate Buti’s Mondarae hit song says that her trip to Namibia in three years is quite short but she is enjoying all aspects of it.

Speaking on the general music industry, the songbird says great strides have been taken and that she is proud of every young artist that is working hard. Newturn has also eyed her potential collaborations with the up and coming artists.
“I would really like to work with King Elegant which is already in the pipeline. This boy is a whole king and he will take the Namibian industry far abroad,” she says.
Newturn has worked with artists including Exit, Waka and Tate Buti as a featured artist. She says she does not see herself working on her own album however, anytime soon.
“Man, I just love and enjoy working with these guys they are a whole vibe, they always take out that Tomboy in me. Honestly I’m not planning on having an album of my own or taking this music thing anywhere far, my whole focus is on my studies, bettering myself and taking care of my family, however, I will be featuring here and there because I just love singing and I don’t want to make it a career,” she said.
Newturn will be heading back to China as off next week. The singer says she loved her short trip and it seems like she made sure to do everything she missed in the past three years.
“I missed my family but most of all I missed my dusty location Uupindi I got mad love for this one. I broke down in tears when I saw my sister for the first time in three years. I was gone for too long. I had kapana and I just missed that jaw-dropping taste and drunk my favorite local drink Oshikundu,” she concluded.
