European colonialism and contemporary racism.
Night Under the Stars tomorrow is taking a detour from the local music scene and will welcome on stage MUSA from Berlin, Germany. The concert is scheduled for 19:00 and entrance is N$ 20.

New to the German and international music scene of rap and hip-hop, Musa Gahein-Sama is inspired by travels, contemporary politics, history and the
formulation of an Afro-European identity. Born and raised in the German capital by his Sierra Leonese parents, MUSA brings his cultural heritage to the forefront through lyrics that express concern of current affairs such as migration, asylum seekers and ethnic minorities. His debut solo album released earlier this year, Berliner Negritude, expresses solidarity with refugees and seeks to awaken hope, while pointing out the grievances that ethnic minorities encounter every day.

The co-founder of Afrotrap project, Black Superman Group is on tour from September to October 2019 and his performance in Windhoek with supporting DJ, Sarah Shakir, follows stops in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and Harare (Zimbabwe)
before the last in Luanda (Angola). MUSA’s tour in Africa is made possible by the Goethe-Institut network in the respective countries. The Goethe-Institut Namibia is located on 1-5 Fidel Castro Street.
