OFF THE RECORD drops its first episode

OFF THE RECORD is a Namibian music talk show that is set to air weekly on YouTube for its first season. The show made its first appearance on 16 March 2021 on the OFF THE RECORD YouTube channel.

The show focuses on all things Namibian entertainment with the aim to inform and educate artists and all industry stakeholders as well as the fans on how the music industry works, with updates on what is trending. The show will also feature appearances by popular industry guests.

The first episode focuses on the legacy of the Namibian Annual Music awards and it’s uncertain future, emerging record label, RTE and R&B in Namibia.

The show is produced and hosted by Namibian entertainment experts Michael Kayunde an entertainment journalist for the Namibian Sun Newspaper, Shona Ngava an entertainment journalist, radio presenter and MultiChoice talent factory 2020 alumni and Vernon van Wyk a Radio presenter and entertainment blogger.
