The new Namibian entertainment talk show Off-The Record, produced and hosted
by Michael Kayunde, Shona Ngava and Vernon van Wyk, has scored venue, styling and clothing sponsors courtesy of Tatekuku Barbershop and Cotton On.

The partnerships come after the success of the show’s two episodes which premiered last month on the show’s official YouTube channel. Off-The Record has also roped in award winning stylist Reinhard Mahalie to style the hosts.

Since its premiere, the show has been praised by many entertainment enthusiasts for discussing thoughtful conversations that are geared towards the growth of the Namibian entertainment industry. “The show focuses on all things Namibian entertainment with the aim to inform and educate artists and all industry stakeholders as well as give updates on what’s trending,” said Shona Ngava.

Reinhard Mahalie shared that he was excited when he learned about Off-The Record as it is a platform with potential to add value to Namibia’s art and
entertainment scene.

“I am excited to come on board and give a lift in the right direction with styling. It’s important that we visually set the bar high because on top of the fruitful conversations discussed; image is one of the elements that will entice viewers to subscribe, share and talk about the show,” said Reinhard Mahalie.

“We are grateful to Tatekulu Barbershop, Cotton-On and Reinhard Mahalie for
coming on board to support what we are doing. We look forward to nurturing these relationships for the benefit of the culture,” added Vernon Van Wyk.
