WATCH: Ondangwa DJ making the nation his playground

Erick the DJ is the next big thing from Ondangwa and he doesn’t plan on stopping soon!

From Afro-house, Dance hall…no event is an ‘event’ without a live DJ’s presence to be felt, and that is exactly what Erick the DJ is most known for.
Erick the DJ is an Afro Tech and Dance hall DJ from Ondagwa has been in the industry for the past seven years since 2008 when he would make mixtapes for dancing groups and that is where he got mad love being a DJ.

“I have mad passion for music, the fact that I make a crowd dance makes me happy, I feel like I am talking to them through the power of music so I previously made six mixtapes of my own, I am currently working on my new single produced by El Maestro from South Africa, an afro deep house version and working towards owning my own studio and I also have a big dream of being able to work with fellow DJ and producer Sammy Lee Jones but that is a work in progress” he said.

He is currently working on doing his first-ever big show for his birthday which will be held on 9 December, the venue still to be announced later in the year.

In his element.

From showing off his DJ skills at the Kasi vibe vol. 4 to Bix car wash, Le Cabrera Lounge Bar and the Kasi party, Ondangwa he is also expected to be playing alongside big names such as Dj Tira from South Africa at the Desert Festival from the 20 until the 26 December this year.
