One Africa TV celebrates Namibia with exciting new shows

Judging from the amount of local content making it onto the One Africa TV (OATV) schedule, the year is looking bright for Namibian TV.

A host of entertaining shows reflecting the realities of popular Namibian entertainment personalities have been bringing a local flavour to OATV while a hot new show will be making its debut in 2020.
Here is what viewers can look forward to in 2020:

‘Planet Michaels’

‘Family Affairs’ is a reality show capturing the drama, excitement, romance and celebrity world of well-known Namibian musicians, Matongo Family.
This TS Media Production brings to the screen the never before told story of Namibia’s most loved music trio. Initially starting as a way of documenting the trio’s reunion for the 2016 NAMAs, the show concept eventually gave way to a bigger
vision of doing something meaningful. On ‘Family Affairs’, the members of Matongo Family merge their love for music with the audiovisual storytelling medium. Watch ‘Family Affairs’ on Sundays at 18h00 with repeats on Mondays at 21h00, Tuesdays at 21h30 and Saturdays at 06h30.

‘Die Eintlike Vibe’
‘Die Eintlike Vibe’ is a hot new Namibian music show featuring quiz games, live performances, and mini-interviews with Namibia’s hottest musicians.

This is the first Namibian TV show that is produced and presented by artists for artists, making for intimate, trustworthy engagement. Primarily centered on reviewing music albums, it has evolved into a platform where artists are interviewed by music peers who understand the struggles in the music industry.

Superstar Adora serves as the main host while kwaito sensation Tulisan holds it down as the co-host for the gaming.
