PHOTOS: Enchanting Odile Gertze’s film premier glam

Check out how model and actress Odile Gertze channeling her Marilyn Monroe’s old Hollywood glamour from head to toe.

On Thursday, the Namibia Film Commission in collaboration with the National Theater of Namibia premiered three short films Wind on your Skin, Encore, and Iitandu; all directed by Namibian women. One of the short films, Encore features glam queen Odile Gertze as the lead actress and boy did she turn up at the premier to stunt of all of us!

Odile is known for many things including her gorgeous fashion and style sense. This time, with the help of award-winning and nominated stylist Reinhard Mahalie and Jay Aeron, the team worked tirelessly to pull off an old Hollywood glam look and they nailed it!

One could say the model/actor was paying homage to the original blond bombshell with an outfit that is so Marilyn Monroe with a slight difference as Odile is not a blond. Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe too was known for wearing sensational evening dresses that showed off her hourglass figure.
Glamorous and extravagant, Odile who was going by the name Vivian for the night was drapped in a fur shawl atop a silk satin open back red number with a smokey eye perfectly finishing off the look. She had lashings of sass and was gorgeously glamorous. Ever alluring, Odile also wore a red lip. The killer look was finished off with satin gloves and a white shawl placed on one shoulder.

Odile who was recently announced as the brand ambassador of Namib Smoke, Namibia’s premium online vape store also had her vape which added that extra dash of spice to complete the look. Odile and her team indeed snatched edges that night!
