Namibian creative Johannes Namuhuja whose stage name is Choice Kapa Kamandela has passed away last night. He is said to have collapsed in his home in Endola.
Close friend and fellow musician Fillyzo Namwater who referred to his friend as a legend, told unWrap.online that the late Choice Kapa Kamandela complained about not feeling well to his girlfriend after knocking off from work.
‘’After leaving him in the room for a few minutes, she heard a loud thud and found him passed out on the floor. By the time the police arrived, Kapa Kamandela was unresponsive,” Fillyzo Namwater said.
Choice started doing music in 2004. He regularly highlighted that his inspiration came from church that drove him to start making Gospel music. However, Choice was a tremendous talent in the Shambo as well as afro-pop genres and had collaborated with a host of other local musicians that include Dama Monique, Fillyzo Namwater, Exit and TKB.
His last album titled Kukuta was released in 2019.
