Shiwa The Baker free masterclass in Luderitz

Here is how you can win free tickets to learn from the best!

Shiwa The Baker is giving an opportunity to 10 lucky aspirant and unemployed bakers, residing in Lüderitz to attend her baking masterclass on 27 April 2019.

Aspiring and novice bakers at Lüderitz are in for a sweet and empowering treat next weekend as Shiwa The Baker will host an introduction to baking masterclass at the town. The participants will learn fundamental baking and entrepreneurial skills necessary to become good bakers and run successful baking businesses.

Over the past year, Shiwa The Baker has trained over 180 aspirant bakers across the country. Her aim is to double this number in 2019.

“I am blessed to be a blessing. As such, I believe I have a responsibility to pay it forward by empowering women through sustainable, education-centric solutions. Our Introduction to Baking Masterclass will educate women in business and baking and enable them to reap other benefits like income generation and economic inclusion. And what better area to do so then in the backyard of the town I was born and raised in, – Lüderitz. Through this free training, I am also hoping to help build, propel and advocate for a movement that will change the way people think about helping others. In the words of James Keller, ‘A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle’”, said Shiwa.

To win one of the seats worth N$ 1000 per person, simply send a text motivating why you’d like to start a baking business via WhatsApp to the number 0814256373 before 25 April 2019.

Winners will be announced on Friday, 26 April 2019. For more information, please follow Shiwa the Baker on Instagram or Facebook.
