Great news for baked goodies lovers in Ongwediva and surrounding areas! Your favorite baker has opened her first bakery as off today. Shiwa The Baker has been working on her bakery for the past nine months and says everything has fallen well into place.
“It’s been a project that we have been working tirelessly for the past nine months, and I am happy that the sleepless nights are finally going to pay off. In this uncertain economic climate, we were compelled to employ an entrepreneurial frame of mind to be able to sustain our presence in the market,” she says.
Shiwa says her boutique will be serving as a purpose for many of the projects she has lined up.
“There we will be hosting more baking masterclasses and retailing our line of baking products and accessories. On the baking front, we will be introducing gluten-free baked goods to our offering. It makes me happy to see a client enjoying a decadent piece of cake on their celebration that they would not have been able to because of food allergies,” Shiwa says.
