South African Expresso show host Katlego Maboe is in Namibia

South African TV personality, singer and actor Katlego Maboe is in Namibia to host the Shoprite Group Top Stars 2019 singing contest.

The star spoke to Unwrap.online about his time in Namibia and says he was excited about hosting the Shoprite Group Top Stars 2019 singing contest. “It is a wonderful platform for employees of the company to find their voice. And to help them sing with their hearts and to connect them with their deepest passion through music and to ultimately allow them to believe in themselves,” he said.

Maboe who is a jack of all trade says he ensures that his acting, presenting and singing roles do not clash with one another. “Fortunately they don’t happen at the same time, that would be impossible to manage. I have my presenting that I do on the morning show Expresso and that is amazing. While I do events as an MC I am able to pursue my singing passion as well. Things have fallen into place for me and time allows me to do things at my best,” he said.

The Expresso show presenter says he has been to Namibia and it is one of the most beautiful places he has been to. He says he has been to Etosha National park and saw elephants for the first time during his visit to Namibia previously.

Maboe rose to the occasion as the MC and used his wit and charm to entertain the crowd and had a great control of the proceeding throughout the show. He also had a unforgettable performance that many would remember before he took over his duties as MC.
