Survival of the Fittest with Mabuzza

The wait is finally over! Mabuzza is dropping his album month end after a five year period of waiting.

The self established artist and Energy hitmaker is bringing along new sounds with this one. When asked why he chose the title Survival of the Fittest, he explains that the Namibian music industry you have to hustle in order to make it to the top. He continues by saying ” It is a jungle out here, one has to do the most to survive”.
The very outspoken Mabuzza says the album is going to be a 19 track album even though he recorded 45 songs in total. Initially, the singer was supposed release a 15 track album but he opted for 19 tracks, to give his fans more to look forward to.

He further explains that there was a delay in dropping the album, actually it was supposed to drop on 4 May but due to unforeseen issues, he chose to release his album this month end. When asked what his fans can expect on the album, he said

” I know people expect it to be a Kwaito album, yes indeed there are few Kwaito tracks on the album but there will be other genres including afro,” he says.

One can image the team that was involved on making Survival of the Fittest come to life. The energy must have been intense as there is a total of 45 tracks but only 19 made the cut. The singer says he worked with a lot of incredible people including Andrew on the Beat who mastered and mixed the album.

Mabuzza will be making the album available on digital platforms saying that it will allow his fans to access the music without a hustle.

Mabuzza is legit rolling different, he says “when I drop an album from now on, better expect a short film coming along with it” thus he also drop a movie Short- Cut.

Survival of the fittest has begun! Don’t worry if you are unable to get the album online, in the middle of June the hardcopies will be out. For now check out the short film ( short-cut)link in his bio.
