2020 fashion and lifestyle awards announced.
Exciting news for local fashion and lifestyle enthusiasts as the fourth edition of Simply You Magazine, Lifestyle and Fashion Awards (SYMLAFA) has been announced to be hosted at the National Theatre of Namibia on September 12, 2020.
SYMLAFA was first hosted in 2017, in collaboration with international personalities such Maps Maponyane SA, Beverly Osu Nigeria and Lasizwe Dambuza SA, the awards take pride in creating a platform for local and international personalities to network. In 2018 the second edition of SYMLAFA was broadcasted live on One Africa Tv, giving the team a platform to reach a wider audience.
“We are thus honoured to announce our collaboration with NBC Tv since 2019 which took SYMLAFA 2019 from the venue to a larger audience of 1.6million viewers. Over the years SYMLAFA stage has embraced artists such as Sally Boss Madam, Kpillest, Top Cheri, Fernando the drama, Imm’s music and many more, ” says one of the organisers Helena Ngaifiwa.
SYMLAFA also takes pride to acknowledge those, that have outdone themselves in their careers over the years in the category of the Diamond awards, 2017 Samuel Kapepo Humanitarians and Philanthropist, 2018 Lize Ehlers artists and Humanitarian, 2019 Dr Libertina Amathila liberation struggle icon and philanthropist.
SYMLAFA 2020, themed met gala aims to celebrate fashion and arts on its well-anticipated red carpet, with an exciting line-up of performers and international personalities.
“We are excited to announce our collaboration with NWR to expose our personalities to promote tourism and the beautiful heritage of our country, as each winner will walk away with a voucher at the value of N$5000 to any NWR resort in Namibia.
