The duo of Lize Ehlers bubbling from the nomination of the Namibian Music Awards (NAMA) artist of the decade alongside Gazza, Exit, Blossom and King Tee Dee and Tate Buti had a rare kiss to peace on Saturday over a social media fake account slur.
Ehlers had to announce on Instagram that Tate Buti did not diss her over the nomination after the later reached out to her to explain his impersonation on social media.
It all went soar when an unknown social media character impersonating Tate Buti took to microblogging site Twitter to denigrate Ehlers over her nomination at NAMAs of Friday.

“And Lize Ehlers meme that is always in the NAMAs but we never see or hear her music. Every single year she is there, Why?” the faceless character charged.
Ironically Ehlers took it at face value going all out to show dismay on both her and social media by sarcastically thanking Tate Buti for the jab.
Upon smoking the peace pipe with Tate Buti, Ehlers later explained on social media.
“Tate Buti did not insult me on Twitter it was a fake account we are still friends and we will do a song together,” Ehlers said on Instagram.

The almost clash of heads between the two giants is one in many mischievous acts of fake news and impersonation on social media which has threatened to derail. Information flow in Namibia.
