Taylor Jaye reminses on Ghana Music Awards headline performance

She is one of the biggest advocates of local music to the world and as usual, never misses to do so graciously in the UK this time. The duo artists of Taylor Jaye and Chin Chilla were this month in the United Kingdom as a special headliner for the Ghana Music Awards that took place on 9 October. The stars previous to the gig were in Ghana and performed at the Afrochella too.

Taylor Jaye is the first Namibian artist to headline a show of this magnitude in the United Kingdom where she had multiple media tours too.

“We came through with that Namibian flavour,” she said on her social media platforms.

Taylor Jaye is also set to make history as the first southern African to perform at the iconic O2 Arena alongside Nigerian Star Zlatan. The venue has only hosted African artists of the likes of Wizkid, Burnaboy and Davido. She has been posting rehearsal footage of her much anticipated performance and is set to crush the stage with the Jaye Walker crew.
