Thirty seconds of Miss Jey

Talishi Werner

The world just doesn’t seem to stop at anything when it comes to Miss Jey. While many might ask who she is, she normally let’s her work speak for it self.

Nominated in the Simply You lifestyle awards before, Miss Jey is a mother of one and a make-up artist.

The versatile make-up artist says she draws inspiration from her mother.
“When I started in 2008, we were like a handful of known make-up artists in Namibia, now there are probably hundreds of thousands of make-up artists in the world, thanks to Instagram and YouTube”, she said.

Miss Jey, who has also worked with some influential Namibians including Daphne Willibard from the former R&B female duo, Gal level, Lize Ehlers is now focusing to break the glass ceiling and secure corporate clients.
“There are not always miracle handouts as everyone all over the world is and will be affected. We are now in the ‘eat or be eaten’ times,” she said.
