The Johnny singer said she didn’t believe the call from Legends agency two months ago until last week when the plans started materialising. The singer is currently on her way to South Africa to get the stone rolling.

“It caught me by surprise. I am super excited to be representing Namibia in the process. My guest character is superb. I can’t reveal much now but stay tuned, ” she said.

Top Cheri in her interview with unWrap.online admitted to wanting to take her acting career out of Namibia and getting back in the game.

“I am an artist, an artreprenuer. We shouldn’t be limiting our talents. If you can do it, go for it. My role as Nangula in Captain Kalola made me realize that I can achieve what I put my mind to. I am super excited to be working closely with Connie Ferguson and her team. I watch The Queen and now I’m going to be in it. How cool is that, ” she said.

According to Top Cheri’s email from Legends agency, she will star in two episodes on The Queen and her character has already been approved by the directors. The Queen airs on Mzansi Magic channel 161 Monday to Thursday.

Top Cheri will be in Johannesburg for the rest of the week and will fly to Cape Town for possible music collaborations that are yet to be revealed.

Stay tuned to her social media platforms for more details.
