Tour De Augustus to get personal with fans

A fusion of hip hop, kwaito and so much more all happening this weekend in Gobabis and Rehoboth

Aimed to be an annual tour, local artists are all about getting personal with his fans in his latest project. Named Tour de Augustus Phred Got1 and musicians Adora, Tulisan, FutureisGigg and Mulberry, they will bring together local music lovers to enjoy its diversity and talents.

We are basically bringing a mesh of AfroPop, hip-hop township disco and Kwaito under one Roof. The bigger vision is to host it at stadiums, but for stage one is to roll it out by targeting the most happening, spots, lounges, and clubs,” he says.

Phred Got1 says the purpose of the tour is to host high-end events in towns many artists don’t focus, grow unity amongst artist, and give a platform to the upcoming artist in those towns.

“After being inspired by tours such as the IVYSON tours by Nasty C we thought why not, who wouldn’t want an increase in brand awareness from such an initiative,”?

The tour begins this weekend where bronze tickets are selling for N$30 and it admits one person or N$ 150 for six people. Friday the team is in Gobabis and Saturday they are in Rehoboth.
