Budding musician and law student at the University of Namibia Umoya might not have seen the courtroom as often but has already launched a new career path in music.
Driven by the desire to entertain and the essence of making a difference, Umoya believes the sky is the limit to her new musical journey.
The new artist is lucky enough to launch her career featuring DJ Siya in her very first single titled Nifumani.

Hailing from the Zambezi region Umoya seems to be a woman of many talents as she also holds a black belt in karate and has represented several times since 2013.
“I am very passionate about music as it gives me the ability to somehow escape from reality, and at the same time address situations through using my voice. Singing gives me the courage to fight battles without using force nor aggravating the situation at hand”, she said.
According to Umoya, her singing career has been made easier through the endless support that she has been receiving from those that have been in the industry for long.
“I am very grateful to have a selfless team of talented individuals that have been giving me unconditional love and support; the likes of DJ Siya, Dion (PDK) and Mr Glo”, she said.
Umoya also added that:
“My music is focused on entertaining both young and old people; as I aim to reach out in a relatable way. The bigger goal is to continue putting Namibia on the map through collaborating with international artists,”.
