Victor Namwandi features in Trenery x GQ South Africa and Woolworth’s campaigns

If you look carefully in Woolworth’s stores, you might peep Victor and if you listen carefully, you might hear his music.

South African based Victor is moving up the modeling ladder quite well and we couldn’t be more proud of him representing us as the country.

The model who is earlier this year featured in an Adidas shoot and just now, he did a campaign for Trenery x GQ South Africa and Woolworths as well as drop some music jams.

Victor says the Trenery x GQ South Africa campaign is running until the end of the year and shares his excitement about doing the gig as it came sooner than expected.

“I signed to 20 Model Management which is a big-league agency home to award-winning models across the globe. Not more than two weeks from signing with them, I was cast in a suit line campaign for Australian luxury brand Trenery. This campaign is currently being advertised by GQ South Africa as well as Woolworths. It’s an exciting time because not only is my modeling career picking up at a rapid pace, it gives other clients the courage to have faith in me and hire me, Knowing I’m able to hold my own.”

The Jack of all trades is soon to bless us with music, saying that it is a passion that needs to be heard by all.

“Music has always been the first love and I’ve been silently working on my craft. I finally reached a space where I believe in myself and in the work I’m creating. I went through a tough break up at the top of the year and had all these bottled up emotions and stories that pretty much forced me to get back to making music. The result of that being a very personal album based on the upsides and downs of letting go and healing, but with an Afropop sound. The first single Home is set to drop next week is a feel-good, a pop-rap song about celebrating the people in your life that make the hardships of life a little less hard.”
