Vilho wins last Comic Standing 2019

The funniest of them all is Vilho and he proved that he is all that and more at the Warehouse Theatre.

A new comedian on the block named Vilho was crowned Last Comic Standing 2019 at FreeYourMind! last week Thursday. The event is prestigious in the comedy world and saw the birth of many Namibian veteran comedians. The competition started with eight hopeful comedians, including the well known Cassie Jessica. There were three rounds and the final comedians standing were Vilho and Gerson. The show was hosted by reigning winner Lloyd and prize money of N$5000 sponsored by Lazarus Jacobs.

Last Comic Standing is a competition earmarked at looking for and awarding comedians who have an interest in stand-up comedy.
This year’s event was judged by Paul Da Prince, Erica Gebhardt, Tapiwa Makaza who also announced at the event that he will be using his former stage name Taap The Guy at Warehouse Theatre.

The next FreeYourMind! show will take place on 5 September.
