After eight months of searching for the perfect voice, Voice Perfect Namibia has officially chosen its top five contestants for the competitions finale despite doing it during a pandemic.
In an interview with unWrap.Online, Voice Perfect Namibia founder Laurentius Haindaka said the competition put a heavy financial straight on the organizers as they did not have any sponsorship from corporate companies.
“The top five artists will get a recording deal with our collaborator studio (Zune’s Records) to record a single. The Covid-19 regulations of course interfered a lot but we created this competition to counter it although financially its draining cause we can’t hold live shows that can be attended by people due to the protocols but we are pulling through”, he said.
The artists that made the cut include, Nestor, Paul -William Shipanga, Karlie, Janine Manuel and JR. Although the date of the finale could not be confirmed yet, the winner will walk away with a cash price of N$ 10 000 and a video recording deal.
“The reason why we don’t have a specific date for the season finale yet is because the team is looking forward to the end of the month for logistics fall in place, and Season 2 is coming soon,” Haindaka said.
