When it comes to the very few who are blessed with the voice of all ranges and reaches , leave out no Paul William Shipanga who was recently crowned the winner of the Voice Perfect Namibia (VPN) season finale.
Shipanga walked away with N$10 000 , mentorship program,recording deal with Zunde Records, marketing, and distribution. This was conveyed to unWrap.online! by Laurentius Haindaka, the manager and founder of the project.
Shipanga who was inspired to participate in the competition due to his love and passion for music, giggled despite the successful outcome of the competition.
“ I admit that there were both ups and downs in my journey,” he stated.
The final year medical student at the university of Namibia and the founder of the “Reach One Serve One” Foundation, a charity that aims to cater to the less fortunate students of Unam, and to the disadvantaged patients in our state hospitals, shared the exciting news with unWrap.online , that he will share his funds that he won with his charity organization in order to contribute towards humanitarianism in Namibia”.
The NAMAs 2016 female artist of the year, Chikune, led the pack of Namibian prominent personalities in congratulating Shipanga .
“Congratulations Paul William Shipanga, you made me proud tonight ,” Chikune said.
