WATCH: Martin Pombili’s celebrity roasts a killer

Funny yet deadly celebrity roasts. Some are mild, while others are, well, prepare to cringe but at the end of the day, its all love.

Comedian Martin Pombili seems to be switching things up in the local entertainment industry with his latest take on events. The comedian whose work goes viral the instant it is uploaded had recently started a local celebrity roast on his Instagram page. His latest roast is on musician Bravo B Divalva.

So what makes a good roast? Of course, it’s the jokes. It is a joke-writer’s medium. But, like everything, it’s also about the comedian’s point of view and how they play off the subject. The point of the occasion is to be hilariously mean, so if you manage to fail at that, you’re going to look imprudent.

So far the comedian has roasted Meriam Kaxuxwena, Top Cheri, and Vikta Juice Boy.

Martin Pombili’s celebrity roasts have been enjoyed by many with his videos knocking on 4000 views on average. The comedian had put up a status asking the public on which celebrities he should roast next and names including Paul Da Prince, Maria Nepembe, KP Illest, Dillish Mathews and King Tee Dee emerged.

Despite those obvious facts of what a roast is, there have been plenty of times when a celebrity is being roasted and they just don’t get the jokes. Artist Vikta Juice Boy is one of the few roasted who seems to have seen the humor in his roast and went as far as sharing it on his social mediums.
