If you are a badass designer and need an opportunity or platform to market or sell your products, the Pop-Up Shop series as part of the Windhoek Fashion Week hosted by Maerua Mall is just the thing for you.

The Pop-Up Shop series will run from Monday 16 to 21 September and will be repeated for another week during October.
Maerua Mall is also a strategic partner for the Windhoek Fashion Week this year and is working on different concepts to see how to get Namibian brands within the mall.
The organiser of the Pop-Up Shop series Kalistu Mukoroli confirmed the events and said this was a brilliant platform for local creatives to market and push their products and clientele.

“We have a Namibian owned make-up brand Hannah Angula who is going to be there. We have a couple of designers who are going to be there, we have local brands who are going to showcase,” he said.
The Annual Windhoek Fashion Week which is scheduled for November has paved the way not only for Namibia but southern Africa by initiating a culture of celebrating and sharing skills and fashion between models and designers alike.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better from designers, the model’s number to the setup and locations used for the event. Last year, models and designers including Gweri Socks and Jafet David grace the runways with their catwalks and fashion pieces.
