After releasing a much anticipated and seemingly successful collaboration album titled ‘Die Hele Box’ with Samuele earlier this year, Exit has now decided to go ahead and shake up the hip hop scene with his upcoming solo project titled ‘The Silence’.
This is after he has been hinting to release a hip hop album for over a year and a half, but more so over the past week on his Twitter page with the hashtag #The Silence.
“About to revive hip hop this End of August. #TheSilence Available WorldWide in a jiffy! Watch this space!!” he wrote on his Twitter. Collaborations have been the order of the day for Rockaz as the release date for his hip hop album draws near.
Exit has been seen working with the likes of Samuele, Tate Buti and DJ KBoz after a studio session of him and DJ KBoz leaked on YouTube where he is seen making a song from scratch and finishing it in an hour. DJ KBoz told unWrap.online that he is producing the album for Exit.
“I’m doing his hip hop album called The Silence. It’s been an interesting journey for both of us because we are not hip hop gurus. I’m a mainstream producer and Exit is known for Kwaito and Afro Pop. So it’s a challenge for both of us. But I love the assistance we got from other artists and producers. A beautiful journey indeed,” DJ KBoz said.
