The Namibian music industry’s growth is amazing no doubt about it. New artists are discovered every single day gracing us with new sounds as well as jumping the music charts.

The consistency of these upcoming artists is one thing one can’t leave out mentioning. They are working extra hard in terms of recognition as well as putting out worth-to-listening music. CHANA Wagner is one of the upcoming artists on the look out, she promises to be in the game for a long time and of course deliver quality music.

The soft spoken artist who started doing music last year had her first ever performance last week Saturday at the Kalahari Coffee and Jazz Cafe. She explains the experience was amazing and she is thankful for platforms like the Jazz Cafe who gives upcoming artist opportunities to perform. “The energy was dope” she adds.

CHANA Wagner who has and Ella Mai, SZA typa feel when listening to her music also dropped her second single entitled What’s New which have over 3000 streams on Soundcloud. She says she isn’t genre specific because she wants to explore throughout the whole genres of music, ” I want to be as creative as possible, I want to stand out different and not blend in with the rest because they all doing the same thing”.When ask what the future holds for her, she told Unwrap.online that she will be dropping her third single soon and after that she will be working on her EP.
