Why Sunny Boy is hosting Made in Namibia

A concert for Namibians by Namibians happening on Friday!

Sunny boy is back

Challenging the way things are done, award-winning artist Sunny Boy will be hosting a concert next weekend to show appreciation and unity from the music industry besides other reasons.
The Young Wild and Free hit maker says the concert is to celebrate local talent from established to aspiring artists. He says he takes pride in all he does and this event will provide that platform. The event is strictly for Namibian artists to allow them to show what their skills and talents to instill pride in their work.

” I have noticed that people host shows and they feel like they need to call international acts to come and grace our stages as if we aren’t good enough but the problem is they disrespect us by giving us peanuts and the international acts leave with the large chunk. They still criticise us for not being able to feature the international acts in our songs but how can we afford to do that if all we get is peanuts? How will we grow too,” he questions.

The concert features Oteya, King Tee Dee, King Elegant, Matongo Family, Maestro 1 Time, Shayria, Slow P, Top Cheri, and Buti Vuitton. It will take place at The Spot and entry fee is N$ 30 which is not fixed.
