WIKA Festival is here

With the theme ‘WIKA CONFETTI. ALLES PALETTI’, the annual 67th Windhoek Karneval, better known as WIKA, is about to kick off!

Proudly sponsored by the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group at large, and Pick n Pay (PnP) Namibia, Windhoek Schlachterei, Weathermen & Co. and Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) and all subsidiaries of the O&L Group, the 2019 WIKA celebration holds an exciting line-up of activities for Windhoek Karneval fans.

The 2019 WIKA festivities kicks off on Saturday, 30 March 2019 and will run until the 14 of April 2019 and will continue at BIWAK on 30 March 2019. ; Prinzenball will take place on 05 April 2019 while “Umzug”/Street Procession commences on 06 April 2019. The JUKA/Youth Karneval occurs on 06 April 2019 and the KiKaWi/Kids Karneval on 07 April 2019. The most anticipated at WIKA is HeDaMA (Ladies and Gentlemen’s Masked ball) and it will happen on (10 April); International Evenings (12 & 13 April); Prunksitzung (13 April); Kehraus/Afterparty (14 April).
