The Wild Africa Fund is a non-profit organization that employs mass communications such as the global Music for Wildlife Concerts and Poaching Steals From Us All campaigns.
The Fund was created to raise awareness for poaching, habitat loss and human wildlife conflict.
Rapper KP Illest is one of the local celebrities who is working with the Wild Africa Fund which was launched last week Thursday to raise awareness about poaching and how to protect and preserve the continent’s wildlife.
He urged and encouraged local artists to lend their voice and popularity to educate their fans about the importance of preserving wildlife.
The WAF also promotes wildlife tourism and carbon offset as sources of conservation and sustainable development funding.
It promotes and directly supports local wildlife programs from offices in South Africa, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Namibia, Zambia and Ghana, and is running the programs previously under WildAid in South Africa, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
They also work with a variety of local and international brand ambassadors and artists that have joined our cause to help promote wildlife conservation efforts in Africa.
