Windhoek Pop Up Festival brought you AKA and it was a success

The festival drew in an amazing amount of people who couldn’t help it but share how successful the event was via their social media platforms.

Windhoek was a very busy city last week and that’s a fact! With events happening left right and centre, it was really difficult for many people in deciding which event to attend. The one event that stood out the most and drawn the attention of many was is the mighty Windhoek Pop Up festival 2019, this time around season three.

The festival’s marketing structures was a breathtaking shout out to the marketing team you guys did a great job. The marketing team constantly informed the people where their next activations will be and what time, run competitions as well as inform everyone what they would miss out if they didn’t attend the event. By doing that, the event hooked a lot of people and tickets sold out fast!

On the “Pop Up Day” (last week Saturday) people dressed up gave their all with their outfits. Everyone had the moments of their lives during the happy hour. Happy hour was a time phrase created (4-7 pm) for everyone making drinks available on a special price. People were dancing and snapping the day away waiting for the artists to start performing. The events had the likes of Dj Castro, Dj Alba, Kp Illest, MIG, Skrypt, Lioness and many more performing.

Even though the was technical difficulties experienced, all acts managed to pull through with their performances and gave the people what they deserve. Artists like Dj Castro expressed their gratitude towards the event for being well organised and accommodating all artists whether International or not, one thing other events lack.

The highlight of the event was the main ou AKA’s performance. Even though everyone was unsure if he would come through or not knowing AKA’s nature, he can cancel a show and not appear at all but the Super Mega pulled up and gave it his all. The Super Mega also experienced technical difficulties which made him throw the microphone into the crowd goodness!

He then viewed his opinion regarding the sound hick-ups he experienced and made it clear his problem was rather caused by a member of the team. But apart from that, the Super Mega enjoyed every tiny bit of the Windheok Pop Up Festival. AKA praised the event for being one of the well-organised events he ever performed and compared his experience this year with the one he had a couple of years ago and was blown away because people came through to see him performed.

Bigs up to Windhoek Pop Up’s management and organisers for a successful event.
